Julius Streicher (1885-1946) was a German politician and publisher of anti-semitic tracts. Gauleiter of Middle Franconia, he was dismissed from this post by the Party Court in 1939-40, but continued to publish der Stürmer until 1945. This portrait measures about 7X9, while the post war frame is 13X16.
